Been going to this practice for many years and it is fabulous. Everyone is really personable and friendly, and the care is expert and meticulous. Lynn is my hygienist and she takes the time to get to know you and she feels like family. They won't recommend a procedure you don't need, but if you do need one, they do it right. Highly recommend!

I was scheduled for my biannual teeth cleaning appointment. The office staff at the desk were friendly and there was plenty of space to comfortably sit and wait. My appointment with Teresa is always a delight. She is a true professional, but since I’ve been her patient for close to 38 years, we have a familiar relationship as well. Dr. Colonna examined me and told me issues which may or may not become a problem. I also asked about the whitening services offered through the office and he patiently explained the two options available. Great visit. Wonderful, friendly, caring professionals.

There is a wonderful staff at this location, and I very much appreciate their "no nonsense" approach to dentistry, as I prefer conservative dentists to cosmetic dentists. I have been going to this location for years and have had 3 different dentists during that time. I am so happy with this location, their accomodation to my schedule, am so impressed by thier compassion, and how much they care to do right by me.....I could never go anywhere else. As far as insurance goes, this location works so well with my past 3 insurances as well.

I always have a great experience at Amedeo and Colonna, Ltd dental office! Dr. Colonna is incredibly skilled, personable, and takes the time to explain every step of evaluations and procedures performed. The level of care I receive each time is outstanding. The dental hygienists are fantastic—thorough, gentle, and always make cleanings a comfortable experience. They genuinely care about their patients, remembering and asking about events in my personal life, and are happy to offer helpful tips for maintaining great dental health. The office staff is always friendly and efficient, making appointments easy to schedule and ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish. I have a great respect for the Personable staff and dental assistant Diane was the best her skills and knowledge was appreciated. The dentist Maloney was the best in his field . I felt cared for and experienced a magical moment when the crown was placed in my mouth and felt natural. His attention to detail was outstanding. I had an amazing experience at this dentist! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and professional, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The hygienist Lynne, took the time to explain everything she was doing and answered all my questions. Dr. Colonna took the time to discuss my goals and options, his Assistant Samantha ensured I felt comfortable throughout the process. I left feeling well-informed and excited to take care of my teeth. The attention to detail and personalized care truly set this practice apart. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to enhance their smile!

Going to the dentist usually is not an enjoyable experience. The doctors and the staff changed my view on that extremely knowledgeable, funny, very easy to talk to and just all around great staff. I definitely walked out with a smile on my face, I'm new to this office it sounds kind of weird but I can't wait to go back.

My son loves going to the dentist! Before we started going to Dr. Amedeo and Dr. Colonna, we had some not great experiences. Now, my son looks forward to it, and takes all their advice. Not only are they knowledgeable and thorough, but they are also genuinely some of the nicest, loveliest people you'll ever meet. Our family has had a 180 degree turn-around in our dental health since starting to go here, and we are so grateful to have found them and for everything they do.

I recently had my teeth cleaned and had xrays of my teeth. It was a shock to get some bad news. However, the hygienist did a great job (as usual), and the dentists are extremely competent and always very courteous. Friendly professional staff! The hygienist who I have, has been my primary hygienist for over 20 years now. She respects the couple of personal requests I have about the cleanings to make the experience more pleasurable for me. I moved out of the area 13 years yet I still drive back to them for my appointments because I can’t imagine going anywhere else for my dental care!!

Always the friendliest employees! Been going here for 30 years plus. Loved Dr. Amedeo, always so gentle and polite. He has retired, and now I see Dr. Colona, super great guy. Haven’t had any work done by him ( hoping he’s as gentle as Amedeo) and hope I don’t have any done!. My favorite dental office!

This was my first teeth cleaning and Kristen, the hygienist was amazing...so good that she made me drool 🤤 She was thorough in pointing out certain things with regard to some areas and gentle with the process of teeth cleaning. And of course, there's my awesome dentist... Dr. Kevin Maloney! His thoroughness with regard to my dental care and bedside manner is nothing short of amazing! Very pleased to have discovered Amedeo and Colonna. Overall, they have an amazing team...thank you!

I have been going to this dental office for 35 plus years. This week I went to have a retainer removed from my bottom teeth. Dr. Colonna did an excellent job.. The procedure was quick and fairly painless. I was putting having this done for years due to the fear of pain. So happy with the kind, caring and excellent service provided during this visit,

Great Appointment. Started early finished quickly but the Hygienist was very thorough and gentle. She told me everything going on with my teeth and gums. Met Dr. Moloney for the first time, sure did appreciate his friendliness and humor. He explained what areas in my mouth would be watched and what treatment would be preformed if needed. Friendly caring atmosphere. Last year, I was referred by a associate whose family has great smiles. Now, I have referred a friend. Word of mouth is literal for a dentist. They were able to get me in for a consult on short notice to allay my concerns this week. Being respectful of my time and reducing my stress are huge benefits. They were better able to plan my next appointment, since they had a look/see.

I am a new patient to this practice and my first appointment went very well. The hygienist was gentle , thorough and willing to minimize the use of the ultrasonic tools, which cause me discomfort. Dr Colonna was quick, sharp and informative about getting me a hard plastic mouth guard and Invisalign to correct my bite. I am very happy to be in the hands of these good people!

Everyone was courteous and professional. I’ve been going here since probably 1988. I came to Park Ridge as a foster kid and public aid dentist wanted to do all this work. My foster parents took me here, paid out of pocket and they coached me on the importance of brushing 2x a day and flossing. I still have all my teeth. They do a great job cleaning every 6 months. They sincerely care about all their patients!

I was referred by a family friend. I was scheduled about a month out, because they are busy, thats when you know they are good. First time went in for an exam/cleaning. My wife and i both had appointments at the same time. Dr. Colonna told me i needed to come back for something else. They got me back in a few weeks later and he took care of me. The staff and everyone was perfect, everyone was professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend, very convenient location and also have parking 10 out of 10.

I and my extended family have been a patients for over 40 years and have always received caring, thorough and professional service. The entire team makes going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. And that says a lot! As times rapidly evolve I appreciate the clinic embracing technology and advanced dentistry practices. Highly recommend for the entire family!

Dr. Colonna is amazing. He’s super sweet and gentle with my children, and always has a smile on his face. Very welcoming whenever we come in, and always patient and honest. Staff is extremely nice and warm as well. Have been coming to this office since I was a child, and now my children come here with me! Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

While doing a thorough job on my teeth, Diane gave me some good advice on how I need to change my brushing habits. I never knew that I needed to regularly change up my pattern of brushing. The way she explained it, it made a whole lot of sense. And then that final visit from Dr. Colonna is always welcome. I feel looked out for and that I am in good hands.

Dr Colonna and his office staff are wonderful. The office is extremely clean and comfortable. I have been going for many years and always get great dental cleaning, checkups, and other work like crowns and a recent root canal. Dr Colonna and Julia recently did some work to prepare 2 teeth for crowns. They explained step by step and I was not in pain because Dr applied pain meds very nicely. They are on time and efficient. Julia did a great job making molds and temporary crowns for me. I highly recommend Dr Colonna. Also my dental hygienist Diane does a thorough job with my twice a year cleanings and polishing. The front desk staff takes care of questions quickly. I highly recommend Dr Colonna and his wonderful staff.

Fantastic! Staff is friendly as always. Been going here for many years. I was put on cancellation list due to my cancelling last months appointment. Pleasantly surprised to get a call from Patty a couple of days ago saying they had a cancellation and would I like that appointment. This place is really great and all the doctors and dental hygienist are very friendly. I didn’t have insurance and they only charged me for the cleaning and gave me my x-rays for free. They are so nice and understanding and they just want you to be healthy. Hard to find people like that these days.

Dr. Amedeo is remarkable, both as a dental professional and a human being. I have seen him for 20+ years. He has proven himself unique among the dentists with whom I have worked because of his willingness to work with my severe dental phobia. He is a very kind person. Unlike other health care practitioners I have seen, I have complete confidence that Dr. Amedeo will always want what is best for me rather than what is most profitable for him. A further testimony to Dr. Amedeo's uniqueness is that there is very little staff turnover in his office. Some of his staff has been with him for 20+ years. His assistant has been with him for 34 years. I'm sure his staff, like me, considers it a privilege to work with him.

I finally found the perfect dentist! Like many other people I have had my share of bad experiences, hence the thought of going to the dentist gives me an anxiety attack. Dr. Colonna is very gentle, patient and carrying, the office staff is always helpful and accommodating, I only wish they were closer to the city.

Dr. Colonna did a fantastic job filling my six year old daughters cavity today. My daughter was able to watch a Disney movie while Dr. Colonna was working, and she did not feel any pain. Dr. Colonna reassured her throughout the process, and when it was over my daughter said, "Mom, that didn't even hurt". I was very impressed with how easy and pain free the team made our morning at the dentist!

When it's been 4 years since you've seen a dentist; better make sure the one you pick is a dang good one! Amedeo is a fantastic dentist, offers trustworthy opinions and takes a lot of pride in his work. Most recently I had a crown put on a tooth that partially shattered, and the experience was fantastic. Even if I move away, I'll probably schedule my check ups and future work around my visits to Chicago.
